Music/Entertainment Industry

For many years Groth Engineering has been making components for the music industry. One of our strengths is reverse engineering. We’ve had customers who manufactured their products overseas and couldn’t get their tooling back. Others were remaking vintage pieces where the drawings had been misplaced long ago. In all these cases we were successfully able to reverse engineer their parts.

Imagination and creativity are key components to the entertainment and music industries. It is precisely this imagination and creativity that we bring to our engineering and state-of-the-art machining solutions. Through these processes we are able to replicate and in some cases improve on the original manufacturing process.

It's not unusual that these components were often made from multiple machined parts. In many cases we have been able to make them from one part giving our customers significant cost reductions.

In the music and entertainment industry function is not the only criteria, they also need to look good. That’s where our creativity comes in, to give the parts beautiful flare, finish, plating etc... helps our customers sell more parts. Another benefit is that everything from the materials to the manufacturing is all done here in the USA, enabling our customers to proudly tag their units with, made in USA.

We’ve had customers come back to us after giving China a try. Their comments were, “Yeah the part was less expensive but with the poor quality control and the delivery problems they actually cost us more than making them here.”

We’ve had more entertainment industry companies contact us recently to use our passion for machining and engineering to bring their ideas to life.
